The Allentown Fleetwings beat the Edmonton Drillers, 6-3. Allentown pitcher and Pleasant Hill, Oregon, native Evan Rodriguez led the way. Nate Harrold earned the save, his 2nd in 2 tries. Allentown currently is in second place in the East Division at 42-34.

Tony Crockett, the 33-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Crockett contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put Allentown up, 4-3.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Rodriguez. "I like it."
