Caracals Pull Off Thrilling 6-5 Win in Extras
The Calgary Caracals trumped the Edmonton Drillers, 6-5, at Caracals Stadium. Calgary third baseman John Ennis was terrific. He was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win belongs to Will Neil in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Pat Clemon took the loss for Edmonton. The victory puts Calgary at 26-38.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Calgary third baseman Jesus Rivas, facing Jim Purchase, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Caracals the 6-5 win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Rivas said.
