Drillers Bang Out 8-4 Win Versus Quebec City
The Edmonton Drillers trumped the Quebec City Blues, 8-4, at Drillers Field. Edmonton third baseman Tim Brenner was terrific. He was 2-4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Picking up the save was Rich Geitgey, his 4th. Edmonton, at 24-26, sits in 4th place in the West Division.

Brenner had a timely hit for Edmonton in the bottom of the sixth. With Quebec City trailing 3-1, he turned a 1-2 slider into a bases-clearing triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season, making it 4-3, Edmonton.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Brenner.
