Late Rally by Senators Locks Up 4-3 Win
The Albany Senators faced a tough opponent in Hamilton pitcher Jose Martinez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Hamilton Park by a final score of 4-3. Martinez went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Eric Taylor earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record is now 2-2. Francisco Casillas finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Andy Brown, the 28-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Brown contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Albany up, 4-3.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Hamilton manager Tom Kern. "But we decided not to take it."

With the win, the Senators improved to 18-25.
