Quebec City Grounds was the site of a tense game between the Vacaville Steelheads and Quebec City Blues.
Quebec City right fielder Dan Stamper made his presence felt in the 3-1 Blues triumph over the Vacaville Steelheads. Stamper went 3-4 with 3 singles. Quebec City pitcher Tyler Scott got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Miguel Miron got the loss.
Vacaville had a runner on 1st in the top of the eighth. With no one out, Chris Buckner came to bat, hoping to do some damage. Instead, he hit into a double play. The score remained 3-1, Quebec City. The Steelheads saw their comeback bid fail.
With the win, Quebec City pushed its record to 20-19.
