The Quebec City Blues defeated the Allentown Fleetwings, 4-1, in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Quebec City Grounds. Willie Aranda pulled his weight. The 2-year veteran was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Aidan Kelly. He tossed 101 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits. Ryan Hunter sewed up the save, his 3rd.
Nick Holmes, who is tied for 9th in the SPBC in triples with 1, aided the Quebec City cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 2-3 with a double and a walk.
