Raith Leads Empires to 8-6 Win Over Blues
|
Kevin Raith knocked in 4 runs to help Southern California beat Quebec City, 8-6. Raith produced 2 singles and 1 home run. Jason Davis closed the game out for Southern California, earning his 1st save. The Empires have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 5th win in 15 games.
With no one out in the bottom of the seventh, Jose Silva had a game-changing hit. The Empires center fielder slammed a 2-run single off Ryan Hunter, making the score 7-6, Southern California.
"We got the victory," said Silva. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
