Victory Over Empires Takes Newark to 8-3
|
Newark Eagles starter Bruce Hernandez was in fine form against the Southern California Empires at Eagles Park, leading his team to a win, 7-0. Hernandez, now 1-1, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Newark, with the win, is 8-3.
