The Los Angeles Knights defeated the Boston Shamrocks, 9-2, at Shamrocks Ballpark. Los Angeles center fielder Gary Craig had a superb performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Mauricio Barahona got the win, improving to 1-1. He held the Shamrocks to 2 runs on 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 1. The win puts Los Angeles at 2-4.

Los Angeles relied on the hitting of Todd Parnell to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Knights on top, 3-2. For the game, Parnell had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
