Blackhawks Upend Shamrocks, 10-1

The Chicago Blackhawks got a good effort from starter Mike Brown in defeating the Boston Shamrocks at Shamrocks Ballpark. The final score was 10-1. Boston has now lost 7 consecutive games.
The Blackhawks got an important contribution from center fielder Jose Gaytan, who in the top of the seventh punched a first pitch fastball into left-center for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Blackhawks ahead, 8-0.
"This game will humble you real quick," said Boston manager Dave Galindo.
