Blackhawks Get Past Los Angeles for 5-4 Win
|
The Chicago Blackhawks topped the Los Angeles Knights, 5-4, in Professional Baseball Circuit action at Camelot. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and Tulsa, Oklahoma, native Greg Claussen. Reliever Kenneth McBean picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Jim Johnson took the loss. Keith Feldman earned the save, his 1st.
Chicago used a clutch hit from Nick Crihfield to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blackhawks ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Crihfield told the Chicago News.
The win for the Blackhawks raised their record to 25-19.
