Chicago rode a decent outing from starter Mike Brown to victory over the Los Angeles Knights. The final score was 5-2. The winner was Chicago reliever Dave Kaminski, now 4-2. The loser was Mark Wickenkamp. Picking up the save was Ruben Wirtz, his 6th.

Chicago used a clutch hit from Mark Hensley to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blackhawks ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Brown, "and go after the next one."

Chicago now has a record of 24-19 with the win.
