D.J. Murphy was a major contributor to the 10-4 Boston win over Los Angeles. The Shamrocks second baseman was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The victory makes Boston 3-2.

Had it not been for Zack Taylor, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Shamrocks were trailing 4-3, Taylor hit a 2-run single for Boston, giving his team the lead.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Murphy told the Boston Gazette.
