5-Hit Barrage by Jones
The Los Angeles Knights stopped the New York City Blues by a score of 6-0 at Blues Field today, with the lion's share of the credit going to right fielder Jose Jones. The 24-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Jones said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Jones did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Blues.

"Not much that I can say," offered New York City manager Paul Wood. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
