Los Angeles Drops Denver, 4-2

Led by Harry Pinard, the Los Angeles Knights downed the Denver Cutthroats, 4-2. Pinard was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Knights. Johnny Scheller earned save number 2 this season. The win puts Los Angeles at 7-16.
Pinard had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 cutter from Francisco Carreno, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Knights a 4-1 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Pinard.
"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Pinard told a Los Angeles Times reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
