Shamrocks Raise Rally Flag, Beat New York City, 4-1
Boston and New York City duked it out and the Shamrocks came out victorious.

Boston starter Mike Murphy put a stranglehold on the New York City offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Shamrocks to a 4-1 win. Earning his 2nd save for Boston was Steve Palermo.

Zack Taylor, the three-time All-Star , had a direct impact on the outcome. Taylor contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Boston up, 2-1.

"Winning is always a team effort," Taylor said after the game.

Boston now owns a record of 11-10.
