Ledlow and Taraborrelli Dealt Monday, November 18th , 2002 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Tigers announced today the acquisition of 26-year old RHP C.J. Messer and 24-year old 2B Joe Taraborrelli from the Ottawa Capitals in exchange for 25-year old RF Ben Ledlow. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Tigers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
