Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit #1 Rookie Named Friday, October 18th , 2002 For several weeks the rumor mill had it that the 2002 Rookie of the Year Award winner was a foregone conclusion and the trophy would go to Vacaville center fielder, Josh Glaser. It is no longer a rumor -- the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit made it official today. Glaser won the award by hitting .354 and collecting 109 hits, 23 home runs, 76 RBIs and 39 walks. He scored 60 runs and posted a .434 on-base percentage. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Matt Wojt of the Vacaville Steelheads finished second in voting, while Steve Crow of the Hamilton Tigers finished third.
