SPBC Choice for Batter of the Month is Glaser Tuesday, October 1st , 2002 Josh Glaser is in the final year of his contract with Vacaville and today added a timely piece of hardware to his trophy case. Playing in 20 games in September the 29-year-old center fielder ripped Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit pitchers for a .364 batting average, nabbing him the Batter of the Month award. He also rang up 4 home runs, 24 RBIs and 12 runs scored. If Glaser keeps up this pace, he'll cost someone a lot of money. This season Glaser is batting .354 with 76 RBIs, 60 runs scored and 23 home runs. |
