Hamilton Loses Jaime Pantle, Will Miss Season Friday, September 13th , 2002 The season is ending on a bad note for Jaime Pantle, starting pitcher for the Hamilton Tigers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Pantle was hurt against the Calgary Caracals while throwing a pitch. He suffered bone chips in his elbow and will be out for at least 5 months. So far this season, Pantle has logged a 1-2 record with a 2.68 ERA. He has started 2 games, hurled 50.1 innings and registered 42 strikeouts and 23 walks. |
