Deal: Pietzsch for Robinson Wednesday, September 4th , 2002 There were plenty of hugs and handshakes all around as 23-year old 2B Andy Pietzsch left the Calgary Caracals today en route to joining the Ottawa Capitals organization. 30-year old RHP Ryan Robinson will be traveling to Calgary Caracals to complete the swap. Ottawa will retain a portion of Robinson's remaining contract. This season Robinson has picked up 7 saves and posted a 2-6 record with a 5.08 ERA. He has 29 relief appearances, tossed 44.1 innings and struck out 33. |
