Moose Trade Ikeda to Drillers for Turner Sunday, September 1st , 2002 Blake Harris, general manager of the Saskatoon Moose, has signed off on a trade for Edmonton's 31-year old RHP Dan Turner. To complete the deal, the Moose will send 23-year old 1B Teruyuki Ikeda and 24-year old LHP Josh Rabalais to the Drillers. Edmonton will retain a portion of Turner's remaining contract. This year Turner has a 2-7 mark in 16 starts with a 4.32 ERA. He has given up 126 hits in 100 innings, struck out 48 and issued 30 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .322 batting average against him. |
