Southern California Deals Dixon to Hamilton for Dufour Saturday, August 31st , 2002 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Southern California and Hamilton have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 34-year old LF Isaiah Dixon to the Tigers with 24-year old C Kylian Dufour joining the Empires. Southern California general manager Joel Del Savio would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Southern California will retain a portion of Dixon's remaining contract. Dixon is hitting .333 for the season with 7 home runs, 39 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 90 hits in 270 at-bats and played in 68 games. |
