20-Game Hitting Streak for Dixon Wednesday, August 14th , 2002 Southern California lost to the Quebec City Blues 4-0 at Empires Stadium today, but Isaiah Dixon kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Empires left fielder has now delivered hits in 20 straight games. "Isaiah has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Southern California manager Doug Stucker told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Isaiah Dixon flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
