PBC's Top Rookie Selected Tuesday, October 15th , 2002 Jonathan Thornton of the Chicago Blackhawks made quite a splash on the Professional Baseball Circuit scene in 2002 by nabbing the Rookie of the Year Award. The standout Blackhawks right fielder took the honor by hitting .324 in 88 games this season and finishing with 105 hits, 15 home runs, 40 RBIs and 66 runs scored. Andy Kifer of the San Francisco Peanuts finished second in voting, while Kevin Williams of the St. Louis Lions finished third. |
