Cup Qualifier Goes the Distance, St. Louis Prevails Sunday, October 6th , 2002 The St. Louis Lions and Chicago Blackhawks held nothing back in an entertaining Cup Qualifier that went the distance. In the end, it will be St. Louis advancing to the Pro Circuit Cup, after a 5-1 triumph in the final game at The Lions Hearth, to wrap up the series 3-2. The Lions players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Blackhawks. Paul Oldham was named series MVP for St. Louis. For the series, Oldham hit .400 with a .455 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.
