Washington Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Wednesday, September 18th , 2002 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Washington might have envisioned. The Washington Warriors were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in Professional Baseball Circuit and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Warriors manager Mike Gross. The Warriors also missed the playoffs last year. |
