Chavez Hurls Shutout Sunday, September 15th , 2002 Starter Francisco Chavez was in charge the whole game in the Boston Shamrocks victory over the Dallas Texans today. In a superb performance, Chavez blanked Dallas 1-0, yielding 5 hits while registering 9 strikeouts and no walks. "That was a fun one," the 31-year-old said later.
