Larini Pitches Cutthroats to 4-0 Win Friday, September 13th , 2002 It wasn't easy but Etienne Larini made it look that way. Larini silenced the New York City Blues, 4-0, in a Denver Cutthroats triumph at Cutter's Cove today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Larini said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 6 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
