Wallace Sticks It to PBC Pitchers Monday, September 9th , 2002 Johnny Wallace is respected by most San Francisco Peanuts fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old catcher went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Professional Baseball Circuit Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .562 average (9-for-16) with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Currently Wallace is batting .346 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
