Parker Raps 3 Homers Against Warriors Friday, September 6th , 2002 It was a good day for the Denver Cutthroats and an exceptional one for Tony Parker. The 23-year-old second baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Cutthroats beat the Washington Warriors 7-3 at Warriors Park. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Parker said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 3 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats. Tony Parker hit a solo-shot off Jason Gagliardi in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jason Gagliardi in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Corey Ferrari in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. For the season Parker has hit .299 with 9 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 70 games and scored 40 times. |
