Lions Cruz Blanks Texans Friday, September 6th , 2002 St. Louis Lions starter Ismael Cruz tamed the Dallas Texans, 2-0, on 8 hits, finishing the game with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in a sharp outing. "I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Cruz said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive."
