Keystones Queen Booms 3 HRs Thursday, August 29th , 2002 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what James Queen did today at The Key, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 11-3. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Queen said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Philadelphia Keystones first baseman blistered the St. Louis Lions for 3 hits, batted in 3 runs and scored 4 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," St. Louis manager Leo Cruz said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." James Queen hit a solo-shot off Ricky Wilson in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ricky Wilson in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mario Villanueva in the 8th. This year Queen is batting .287 with 10 home runs. |
