Aguilar Nabs PBC #1 Pitcher Award Thursday, August 1st , 2002 Javier Aguilar dazzled opponents on his way to the Professional Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Month award for July. Posting a 5-0 record and a 1.85 ERA, the Detroit Motors starter held opposing hitters to a .235 batting average while striking out 46 in 43.2 innings and giving up 11 walks. On the year Aguilar has compiled a 8-2 mark with a 1.87 ERA. |
