5-Hit Barrage by Flohrs Sunday, July 14th , 2002 It was a parade of hits for Bill Flohrs of the Los Angeles Knights at The Garage today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Flohrs finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Knights to a 9-5 victory. "Flohrs was really good and we were really bad," groaned Motors manager Dick Granade. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Bill Flohrs doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
