|
Right-hander Tony Vadi mesmerized the Chicago Blackhawks while leading the Dallas Texans to a 4-0 victory. Vadi got the win, improving to 6-9. He allowed 9 hits and walked 2 over 8.1 innings. Vadi allowed no runs. The Texans go to 33-41, putting them third in the West Division.
Paul Abrantes hit a run-scoring double off Greg Claussen in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Texans in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Abrantes had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
