Drillers Lose to Goldeyes in Walk Off
Winnipeg first baseman Chad Fergerson made his presence felt in the 6-4 Goldeyes triumph over the Edmonton Drillers. Fergerson went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Winnipeg reliever Rhys Fox got the win, raising his record to 6-0. Vladimir Perovic was tagged with the loss. The Drillers have now dropped 5 straight.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With one out, Fergerson hit a fastball from Vladimir Perovic for a 2-run home run. The Goldeyes, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It was terrific getting this win," Fergerson said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
