The Saskatoon Moose finished things off in style.
Saskatoon starter Rodolfo Calderon pitched well against the Allentown Fleetwings at Moose Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The winner in relief was Min-soo Jang. He is now 3-4. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Saskatoon shortstop Kimio Yamada, facing Asa Kellogg, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Moose the 4-3 win.
"Exciting game to play in," said Yamada. "Getting the win makes it even better."
The Moose improved to 46-37.
