Fonseca Propels Ottawa to 7-1 Win
Carlos Fonseca was outstanding against Albany. The right-hander, who leads the SPBC with a 9.9 K/9 rate, had a cutter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Capitals 7-1 win. Albany has now lost 4 consecutive games.

The 38-year-old Fonseca turned in a performance that had his younger teammates taking notes. Fonseca rang up 9 strikeouts and held the Senators to 3 hits over 7.2 innings. Fonseca is now 5-7 on the year with 100 strikeouts.

Fonseca told a Ottawa Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
