Win Lifts Eagles to 50-25
|
Newark Eagles starter Aaron Cox had all his pitches working at Ballpark of Vacaville. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Newark win over the Vacaville Steelheads. Cox, now 11-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The Eagles lead the East Division by 3 games.
