Good production from first baseman Chad Fergerson helped the Winnipeg Goldeyes topple the Saskatoon Moose, 8-6. Fergerson went 5 for 7 with 2 doubles and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Goldeyes. Justin Pike got credit for the win, improving to 6-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Winnipeg leads the West Division by 2 games.

Fergerson had a game-changing double in the top of the 12th. On a 1-0 fastball from Ding-bong Ts'ong, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Goldeyes a 8-6 lead. It was the 18th double of the year for Fergerson.
