Ottawa Capitals starter Carlos Fonseca turned in a top-notch performance against the Quebec City Blues at Capitals Stadium. The result was a win for the Capitals, 2-1. The win puts Ottawa at 27-41.

Though he did not get the decision, Fonseca did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7 innings, until Ottawa eventually rallied past the Blues.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Fonseca said.
