Dominguez Leads Blues to Win
The 8-3 Quebec City win over Ottawa was due largely to Julio Dominguez. The Blues center fielder went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Miguel Valerio, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 4-4. Henry Gonzales recorded the save for Quebec City, his 3rd of the season.

Quebec City used a well-timed hit by Rafael Cardenas to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blues ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Dominguez told a Quebec City Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
