Spirited fans greeted the Quebec City Blues for their clash with the Saskatoon Moose.

Quebec City got a big-time effort from pitcher Bryan DeMott, but it wasn't enough to keep the Saskatoon Moose from winning the game, 5-2. DeMott threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The third-place Moose improved to 32-26.

Saskatoon used the timely hitting of Caleb Duffey to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Moose on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Duffey.
