Chambless, Blues Get 4-0 Win
|
Bobby Chambless was superb against Southern California. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the SPBC in strikeouts with 79, had a splitter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Blues victory. The score was 4-0. After today's action, Quebec City sits at 24-32, while Southern California falls to 25-31.
Chambless, who leaned on his splitter, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 8 innings for the Blues. For the most part, Southern California hitters were simply overmatched.
