7 Straight Wins for Moose
|
Saskatoon center fielder Adrien Erno helped his team beat the Newark Eagles, 6-4. Erno went 2 for 3 for the Moose. Tristan Parker got the win, improving to 5-3. He held the Eagles to 4 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 4. The Moose, now 29-24, have won 7 in a row.
Erno had a timely hit for Saskatoon in the top of the sixth. With Newark trailing 4-3, he turned a 1-2 curveball into a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 6-4, Saskatoon.
"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Erno.
