Ichikawa goes 3-for-4, Leads Tigers to Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Albany Senators and Hamilton Tigers get after it.

Tigers first baseman Hidemitsu Ichikawa put his stamp on his team's 7-5 win over the Albany Senators. Ichikawa went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Hamilton in the contest. The winner was David Orme in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Fernando Ugarte took the loss.

Sal de Santiago hit a run-scoring double off Fernando Ugarte in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Tigers in front, 6-5. In addition to the double, de Santiago had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"It wasn't our best performance," said de Santiago, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."

With the win, the Tigers sit at 31-21.
