Caracals Topple Fleetwings with Late Rally
Calgary picked up a win at Fleetwings Ballpark, bumping off the Allentown Fleetwings, 6-2. Pitcher Brian Garretson was a major reason the Caracals emerged victorious. The Caracals have an impressive 32-20 record.

Had Jose Chavez not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Chavez hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Caracals.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Chavez told the Calgary Times. "It's as simple as that."
