Goldeyes Reel Off Another Win
Starting pitcher Jose Martinez pitched well enough to help the Winnipeg Goldeyes beat the Quebec City Blues, 8-3. The Blues, at 23-28, have lost 4 in a row.

Winnipeg used the timely hitting of Nate Greco to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Goldeyes on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just made my pitches," said Martinez, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
