The Allentown Fleetwings got a stellar performance from pitcher Jim Brink, who handcuffed the Calgary offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Fleetwings Ballpark. The 4th-place Fleetwings have won 4 straight.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Will Neil didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Calgary trailing 4-2, Neil retired Dave Ponte to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Neil, with a wink.
